Managing Partner

Nuno Pais Minister, Architect, graduated in 1997 from Universidade Lusíada de Lisboa, began his professional activity in Macau where he carried out several projects in the field of Equipment and Services. In 2000, he returns to Portugal where he has developed his professional practice – mostly in the Greater Lisbon area.

His practice was centered on Housing, with a special focus on real estate rehabilitation, having been distinguished with several awards, most notably, in 2006, the Honorable Mention at the “Municipal Architecture Prize of Almada”, two international awards at the “ European Property Awards” (2017 and 2019).

In 2019 and 2020, he won the “National Real Estate Prize” in the Housing category, and that year also the “National Urban Rehabilitation Prize” in the Housing category and the SIC/Expresso Real Estate prize.

He endorses the words of Rem Koolhaas when he says: “If we don't change and evolve, we end up stopping thinking”, and, therefore, we are certain that architecturally, financially and commercially relevant projects will emerge from the debate.

Over his 24-year career, he has developed projects of various scales and types. All important. All viewed in the same way. Everyone dream of someone who is the customer, the most important person.

Senior Partner

João Monteiro Rodrigues, Architect, graduated in Architecture at the Lusófona University of Humanity and Technologies in 2004, in Lisbon.

Collaborated with Arch. Maria João Gonçalves at ArchosCidade, during which she participated in several rehabilitation projects with different uses: housing, equipment and mixed.

He created his own architecture and design studio where he developed consultancy and feasibility of real estate investments, in various types of projects and geographic locations, with different business plans.

It began its partnership with Pais Ministro & Partners in early 2022, which now culminates with its entry into senior partner, assuming a strategic move to expand and consolidate skills and joint efforts.

Its Projectual activity is fundamentally centered on rehabilitation, creating synergies between traditional architecture and contemporary design, a product of the various movements of the 20th century.

In his projects, he is very concerned with the integration with the environment, the plant material, the sensitivity of the landscape and environmental sustainability. In these, he inscribes the human figure as a protagonist and privileged observer of the spatial complex.»

Junior Partner

Edgar Pires Francisco, Architect, Graduated from the Luisada University of Lisbon in 2010.

He has extensive experience in licensing and execution projects.

At the beginning of his career, he developed some projects in cooperation with Nuno Pais Ministro, having later continued his activity in architecture offices in Lisbon, London and Portimão.

He has a special interest in the area of energy optimization in residential buildings with a focus on reducing the energy load of buildings.
