Project for alteration of an existing house that was in a deep state of neglect and which had a volume inspired by a boat, with poor quality materials and quite deteriorated.

The existing house had – already – the maximum area and volume allowed, so the project consisted mainly on creating a non-existent harmony with the surroundings, as well as reorganizing the interior in a coherent and functional way.

The outside walls were covered with handcrafted bricks and wood in order to break with the coldness of the cement plaster and the existing faux stone, as well as trying to break the existing single volume into several volumes.



The final result exceeded the expectations of both the designer and the client, as we created interior and exterior environments of high aesthetic and architectural quality.
